Maintaining your Perfect Nails
Many problems are caused by failing to follow your technician’s advice or not keeping your nails maintained by your technician.
If you follow simple guidelines your nail enhancements will remain looking beautiful, be long lasting and cause no harm to your natural nails. By treating your new nails as if they were your own natural, long nails there should be no reason to be disappointed with your nail enhancements. Remember that nail enhancements are an extension of your own natural nails and should be treated with care to avoid breakages. When doing your daily chores be careful and protect your new nails at all times. Use rubber gloves for housework and gardening and avoid solvent based products.
Using cuticle oil at least twice daily is strongly recommended and will help to keep nails flexible, prevent breakages and prolong their life. Avoid Lanolin based hand creams as this can cause lifting.
If your natural nails are short then start by having short nail enhancements to encourage the natural growth underneath and allow yourself to become accustomed to your new nail length.
Never cut any nail enhancements, always file as cutting can cause the product to damage and weaken which in turn can cause lifting maybe leading to a bacterial infection which can damage your natural nail plate.
Remember that your nails are Jewels not Tools.
